Definitely would stay here again. Minor issues like the bathroom door drags on the floor making it hard to close (the floor humps up underneath), room 204. Shower head not adjustable, hard to shower without getting sprayed in the face, had to duck underneath. Power outlets on the bedside table would be a nice improvement, only outlets at desk. Clean, convenient, excellent front desk staff.
I stayed at the Hampton Inn Sturgis-Lagrange, arriving at 2:30 a.m., and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The parking area was well-lit and felt safe, which was very reassuring for a solo female traveler. The staff were welcoming and friendly, immediately making me feel at ease despite the time of my arrival. The room was spotless, comfortable, and had everything I needed for a restful stay. The bed was cozy, and the overall cleanliness was impeccable. I highly recommend this location for anyone looking for a safe, clean, and hospitable place to stay. I’d definitely stay here again!
My sister and I were there for our uncle's funeral. We were supposed to get a "bereavement discount", but the price was higher than websites we found...*sigh*. The knob in the bathroom was painted with gray paint and it was worn off...so cheap looking. The staff was very friendly and attentive. Breakfast was good. The room was clean and comfortable.
The room was very clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. The pool was the perfect temperature. The coffee was excellent and always fresh. We also got the most friendly customer service. And breakfast was amazing!! My fiance and I will definitely be coming back!!
My stay at the Hampton Inn in Sturgis, MI was very good overall. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and my room was clean and comfortable, which is my top priority when choosing a hotel. The parking lot was well-lit and offered easy access to the building, which I appreciated after a long day of travel. That said, the hotel is clearly due for an update. The elevator, in particular, could use some maintenance. While it didn’t impact my safety, it definitely stood out. I’d rate the staff and room a 5, and the overall property a 3 due to the aging infrastructure. I spent some time exploring the area, and I think this hotel is a good match for the town, comfortable and dependable, if a bit dated. I would stay here again without hesitation.
Nice hotel for the price. Our room was clean and well stocked with the essentials. The best part about the room was the window opened so we could let some fresh air in at night. The pool was clean and had towels available for guests. Breakfast was also good, except I wish they had oatmeal (not the instant stuff). There's not a whole lot to do in the area but there were a couple of restaurants and a Walmart just down the road.
The hotel is showing a little bit of age, especially the elevator, but it's not enough to fuss about. However, I will say that our room was clean and the breakfast was pretty good. Overall, my wife and I didn't have any issues with this place and we'll probably stay here again next year.
Hotel is nice. They seem to be understaffed so service was not as I would expect for a Hilton property. Room was good but AC/heater unit didn't really work well. Thermostat set to 64 and tempature in the room was 70.
